When to convert SVG to raster images
While SVGs scale smoothly on any screen, many platforms (such as avatars on social apps, presentation slides, or legacy image viewers) do not accept vector files. Exporting to PNG preserves transparency while providing broad compatibility.
Scaling options (2x, 4x, 8x)
SVGs are resolution-independent. Rasterizing at 1x might look soft on high-DPI displays. Choosing a higher scale increases the pixel density of the output PNG or JPEG, keeping shapes and text crisp.
Browser-based rendering
Rendering uses the HTML5 Canvas API in your browser. No files are transferred to an external server.
